Software Freedom Day’13 – A Grand Success

PuduvaiGLUG with the support of FSFTN organized Technical Talks on the behalf of Software Freedom Day 2013 at Pondicherry on 25th of August.

Though we expected only 100-120 members, we planned well to manage 300+ members on that day. It was a grand success for us on our first initiative.

The first session started with an Opening Keynote by Mr. Rama Seshan and Free Software – Philosophy by Mr. Sibi ( FSFTN ). The next session was on Python – Introduction by Mr. Prasanna and it proceeded with talks on Raspberry Pi – Arduino by Mr. RajaRajan and Internet Democracy by Mr. Karkee. Finally the certificates for the participants are distributed and event concluded with Vote of Thanks by Mr. Arun.

We thank all our PuduvaiGLUG members, Student Reps., and Volunteers who worked hard to make this event a super success.

Thank you all for your kind support! 🙂
